About FYIFI
Our mission is to provide financial literacy resources in American Sign Language (ASL) to the Deaf community. The name FYIFI is chosen because it is derived from the concept of information sharing related to finance. The access to any financial topics in ASL is very limited and we intend to change that in a long run. FYIFI is created by people who volunteer their time to make financial literacy more accessible for the Deaf community.
The categories we cover are bank accounts, budgeting, savings, investing, insurance, financial calculators, loans & credit, employee benefits, paying for education, taxes, and estate planning. We intend to cover as much as we can in ASL. If you have a specific topic you want us to provide in ASL, please submit a request through our contact webpage and we will try our best to make it happen.
FYIFI is made possible thanks to volunteers who contribute content to FYIFI
